With more than 17 independent fireworks shows and celebrations scheduled this summer, Orlando is one of the most amazing places you can go to, if you want to celebrate July Independence Day in style. Aside from Disney’s famous World Fireworks and the Red Hot & Boom fireworks celebrations – which are known as the most popular fireworks shows in Orlando – there are many other great places to visit in the area, each offering its own unique expression when it comes to what attracts tourists and visitors.
Downtown Orlando expects at least 100,000 people to show up to the fireworks events blasting through Lake Eola Park and Sanford. While the Orlando fireworks start at 9:10 PM, the Sanford fireworks are only scheduled to start 5 minutes later, which means you will have to choose one or the other, due to the large distance between the two areas.
However, depending on where you are, lots of other fireworks shows can also be found in places like Winter Garden, Mount Dora, Winter Springs and Oviedo. All of these locations are fairly close to Orlando, so even if you’re in town for just a short time, you’ll do well to visit at least a few of them.
The bottom line shows that Orlando is definitely a great place to visit in July. From grand fireworks shows to festivals, concerts and other special events, there will be something here for everyone.
